45 teams representing 45 universities, colleges, and academies nationwide, divided into Northern and Southern regions, competed in the Semi-Finals of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents Competition 2025.

In terms of format and content, there have been many changes compared to previous years. Specifically, the semi-final round of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents Competition 2025 consists of two parts: the main competition and the voting round for the most popular team in the semi-final round, which are two separate parts.

The supplementary competition will take place from October 16th, 2025 to October 22nd, 2025. Each team must prepare one photo (without any logo, name, or identifying marks of the school), along with a short introduction about the team in Vietnamese, maximum 200 words. Photos from the Northern region teams will be posted and voted on from October 16th to 21st, 2025, while photos from the Southern region teams will be posted from October 17th to 22nd, 2025 on the Viet Nam Young Logistics Talents fanpage.

Main competition section: Each team chooses one topic and proposes solutions to address a specific problem in the field of logistics and supply chain management related to that topic. Specifically:

Each team will have to prepare one report (maximum 20 pages) and one video (maximum 5 minutes) to present their topic (proposal, solution).

From October 25, 2025, participating teams will present their reports in person (teams in Hanoi are expected to hold the presentation at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, and teams in Ho Chi Minh City are expected to hold it at Ho Chi Minh City Open University), or online (teams in provinces and cities outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) for 5 minutes, and answer questions from the judging panel for 7 minutes.

After the entries for the Semi-Finals of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Competition are submitted, the Organizing Committee reviews and evaluates them to identify the seeded teams in each region and assigns them to different groups. The remaining teams then draw lots to be placed into the groups assigned to their seeded teams.

Teams in each group will present their reports live (for teams in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) or online (for teams in provinces and cities outside of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) for 5 minutes, and answer questions from the judging panel for 7 minutes. Each group will select 1-2 teams with the highest scores to advance to the Final Round.

The teams’ entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

Ability to analyze problems and identify causes: Reasons for choosing the topic/situation; Problem analysis and identification of causes; Specificity and reliability of evidence and data;

Problem-solving ability: Based on the proposed appropriate and scientific solution; feasibility and practical application of the solution; creativity and novelty;

Skills: Language use, presentation; Technology application; Teamwork;

The format, presentation of the report, and video analysis of the problem and its root causes.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also clearly stipulates that points will be deducted for cases of late submission of exam papers. Any revisions made after the submission deadline will be considered late submission based on the time of the last revision.

Specifically, to ensure that the project is the product of the competing team, the Organizing Committee reviews the level of plagiarism in the reports. A plagiarism rate of less than or equal to 30% is acceptable, while anything over 30% will result in disqualification.
