On September 9, 2025, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering held a conference to announce the Rector’s decision and launch the specialized groups of the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering, along with specialized groups from other units within the university. This conference is an important task in building and perfecting the faculty and professional staff, contributing to improving the quality of training, scientific research, and other activities of the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering and the University.
Attending the conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Rector, members of the Board of Directors, Party Committee, University Council, representatives of units within the university and lecturers who received appointment decisions.
At the conference, the University announced and presented the Decisions of the Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering regarding the assignment of Heads of specialized groups within the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering.
The following specialized teams and team leaders were established:
– Port and Waterway Specialist Group: Dr. Vu Minh Tuan
– Irrigation and Hydropower Expert Group: Dr. Nguyen Phuong Lam
– Hydraulics – Hydrology Specialist Team: Dr. Trinh Cong Ty
– Hydraulic Engineering Experimentation Specialist Team: MSc. Pham Quang Thanh
The launch event is a significant development, affirming the pioneering role of the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in training and research, making a positive contribution to the development of the University and the country.
