SIGNING CEREMONY FOR COOPERATION AND DIGITAL MODEL TRANSFER BETWEEN PORTCOAST COMPANY AND HANOI UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

On September 18, 2024, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Portcoast Consulting and Design Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony for cooperation and the handover of the digital model of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, digital models of ancient villages: Phu Lang pottery village (Que Vo, Bac Ninh), Nom village (Van Lam, Hung Yen), Cuu village (Phu Xuyen, Hanoi), and awarded PORTCOAST scholarships to students of the Faculty of Information Technology.

The signing ceremony for the cooperation and digital model transfer between the Port and Marine Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering marked a significant milestone in the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two parties. The aim is to further enhance close, in-depth, and effective cooperation to serve the training of high-quality human resources, promote the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM), integrate BIM on a 3D GIS platform, and move towards comprehensive digital transformation in the construction, architecture, and planning ecosystem.

Portcoast Company and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, are partners in many areas such as: sponsoring scholarships, supporting training activities, accepting students for internships and employment at Portcoast, collaborating on master’s degree training in Hydraulic Engineering, and are working together to bring the latest advancements in digital technology into the training of engineers at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
