INAUGURATING THE CENTER FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING – A STEP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COOPERATION PLAN BETWEEN HANOI UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AND THE PORT AND MARINE ENGINEERING DESIGN CONSULTING JOINT STOCK COMPANY

On May 21, 2025, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Portcoast Consulting and Design Joint Stock Company (PORTCOAST) launched the Digital Transformation Center in Construction Engineering on the 2nd floor, building A2, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

This event marks a new step in the cooperation plan between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and PORTCOAST Company. It also signifies an important step in integrating digital technology and construction techniques.

In the era of national development, the demand for sustainable development and digital transformation is emphasized, and digital transformation in the construction industry is one of the particularly important areas of focus. In this context, the Center for Digital Transformation in Construction Engineering, located at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, will play a crucial role in research, technology transfer, expert training, high-quality human resource development, promoting the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM), and integrating BIM onto 3D GIS (Geographic Information System) platforms, ultimately leading to comprehensive digital transformation within the construction, architecture, and planning ecosystem.
