On April 10th and 11th, 2025, the 60th Conference of the Science and Technology Club of Technical Universities was held at Quy Nhon University, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
With the theme: “60th Conference on Collaboration in Research, Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Scientific and Technological Products among Technical Universities”, this year’s conference aims to strengthen cooperative relationships between universities and research institutes in the Club to promote scientific research, technology transfer, product commercialization, innovation and community service, contributing to the economic, social, security and defense development of localities and the country.

This conference attracted 41 papers from member universities of the Club. In addition, there were speeches by Mr. Do Tien Thinh – Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Hung – Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information of the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of TMA Technology Group, etc., sharing about the orientation, decisiveness, and facilitation of state management agencies in developing science and technology in the new era, the university-enterprise cooperation model in training and research in artificial intelligence, etc. In 2025, the Club also admitted three new member universities: Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Viet Tri University of Industry, and Dai Nam University, bringing the total number of member universities to 32.
At the same event, Associate Professor Dr. Le Ba Danh – Deputy Head of the Science and Technology Department, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering – was honored to receive congratulatory flowers for his new position from the Club’s organizing committee.

On the occasion of the seminar, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province, Pham Anh Tuan, also met with leaders of member universities in the Club to discuss strengthening connections and promoting cooperation in research, technology transfer, and training high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development of the locality.

The Science and Technology Club of Technical Universities was established in 1993 with five members: Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; Hanoi University of Transport; Hanoi University of Mining and Geology; and the Military Technical Academy. Having been a partner with the Club since its inception, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering is one of the key members playing a crucial role in achieving the Club’s common goal of strengthening cooperation among technical universities in science and technology activities, enhancing the potential of each university to serve education, and contributing positively to the industrialization and modernization of the country. It is hoped that the Club will continue to grow stronger in the future.
