The Faculty takes the motto “Practical learning – Practice – Industry” as the guiding principle throughout training.
- Teaching is linked to production practice, closely combining theory – simulation – experiment – field – business, to ensure that students can flexibly apply knowledge to professional practice.
- Encourage project-based learning, experiential learning and training linkage with businesses to help students accumulate professional skills, collaboration and creativity in real-world environments.
3. Sustainable development
The Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering aims at a sustainable educational philosophy, connecting science and technology – society – environment – people, contributing to the implementation of HUCE’s mission in the cause of national development.
- Training students with systemic vision, social responsibility and environmental protection awareness, meeting the requirements of green, smart development and international integration.
- Nurture innovative thinking, entrepreneurship and leadership capacity, especially in the fields of green logistics, smart ports, disaster prevention irrigation works and climate change adaptation infrastructure.
The philosophy of “Capacity building – Practical proficiency – Sustainable development” of the Faculty of Hydraulic Construction is the concretization of the educational philosophy of “IDENTITY – COMPREHENSIVENESS – LIBERALITY” of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
